Novi pristup učenju engleskog jezika, bez učenja gramatike i dosadnih časova, učenje jezika kroz konverzaciju. Potrebno je minimalno znanje jezika, sve ostalo prepustite meni :D
Stars drži časove engleskog, poruka u inboks za dogovor. Cimanje stop :D

Andy Murray’s psychologist refutes “gloomy” image

ANDY Murray’s new sports psychologist has hit back at suggestions that the Scots tennis ace is dour.

Alexis Castorri described Murray as “funny and delightful” – and a joy to work with.

The star revealed last week he has been working with the therapist for the past few months and her input has been credited with helping him land his first Grand Slam at the US Open.

Murray had been criticised for his gloomy demeanour and on-court tantrums, with his former coach Brad Gilbert describing him as “one of the most negative people I have ever met”.

But Ms Castorri, 59, from Fort Lauderdale, in Florida, said: “I have never found Andy gloomy. I love working with him: he’s a delightful, happy, funny, sensitive young man. And he was completely open with me from the first conversation.

“After the way he spoke when he lost the Wimbledon final this year, perhaps more people have warmed to him, because he was revealing a side of himself they hadn’t seen before.

“It’s a simple lesson but if you can learn to be yourself – the most positive form of yourself – then good things tend to happen.”

Murray, 25, was introduced to Ms Castorri by his coach Ivan Lendl, who she helped during his tennis career. She speaks to the world number three on the phone every two or three weeks and meets him whenever he is at his apartment in Miami.

Ms Castorri told how her main task had been to help Murray rediscover his love for his sport.

She added: “When I looked at early films of him playing, he played with such happiness and excitement, so my initial thought was that he needed to bring back the zest. But I believe you start that off the court. Andy is a creative genius, a tactical and technical genius, so he needed to reconnect with his inner strengths.

“It’s natural that when someone puts their heart and soul into what they’re doing, they sometimes forget how much enjoyment they once took from it.

“Andy has lofty goals and he is hard on himself. In that situation, you need to remember that you love the battle – that’s why you are out there.”

Murray, who lost in the final of the Shanghai Masters to Novak Djokovic on Sunday, said the psychologist had helped him deal with issues outside of tennis affecting his game.

The Scots star said: “I spoke about things away from the court that may affect you and stop you from being fully focused on tennis.

“That’s really what’s helped me, rather than talking about breathing or taking your time between points.”

Andy Murray column: Winning Grand Slam gave me nightmares

I've had a few confusing dreams this year - a couple of days after Wimbledon I dreamt that I'd actually won it, and was gutted to open my eyes and realise I hadn't.“
It's really good to be back home and the reception I got when I walked onto court to play Tomas Berdych on Monday was great”
Andy Murray
And on the Thursday after I got back from the US Open, I was sleeping on the couch at home and this time I dreamt I'd lost the final. When I woke up I had to ask myself, "did that actually happen?"
That was when it hit me that I really had won my first Grand Slam title.
I guess there will be no room for doubts when I finally get my replica of the US Open trophy.

Andy Murray column: Hard work worth it this year
When we get down to the serious business of training, I know what to expect: Pain.
The endurance sessions are the hardest ones because lifting weights isn't that painful - you can either lift it or you can't - whereas when you do an endurance session it depends how much you want to push yourself.
Most people would normally stop when they're struggling to breathe but if you push yourself through that, you might feel horrible at the time but you'll feel better once you get off the machine or the track. It's pushing it that extra bit that makes all the difference.
Having said that, there are limits. I've never actually got as far as vomiting in training - I don't necessarily agree with that philosophy as your body's clearly not ready to do that type of thing - but I've certainly felt like it. Many, many times I've ended a session flat on my back with the world spinning above me.

............I have an even bigger challenge before that though - what do you buy Ivan Lendl for Christmas? A sense of humour, maybe?
Only joking!

The off-season is a couple of weeks longer this year so it gives me a bit more time to fit in a holiday, training in Florida, and then come back to spend Christmas at home for the first time in four years.
Which brings me back to the question of presents. I always end up doing it last minute - I know I shouldn't because it always stresses me out - but I promise I do put some thought into it.
I prefer to go out to the shops myself as I don't really trust ordering stuff off the internet. My brother likes to do that, and he's been burnt a couple of times when it turns up three days late or two sizes too small, so you might see me racing round the shops trying to find the perfect gift for Ivan!
And one last thing - I want to say thanks for all your support this year, it's been incredible. I would have loved to have finished with a win at the O2 but Roger played great, and hopefully we'll have many more battles next year.
