Ane nikad dosta

Skotov intervju za Golf International Magazine
Scott reunites with Ana Ivanovic Having split-up from girlfriend Ana Ivanovic last year, Adam Scott has confirmed he is back together with the Serbian tennis star. Robin Barwick reports..
Adam Scott has revealed that he has rekindled his relationship with Ana Ivanovic, the photogenic Serbian tennis star, who he describes as “the most caring person I have ever met”.
Scott, 31, and Ivanovic, who turns 24 on November 6, first started seeing each other in July 2009, having met at the Wimbledon tennis championships in London, but then they broke-up a year later.
“Ana and I have just started seeing each other again,” stated Scott in an exclusive interview at the world final of the Mercedes Trophy in Stuttgart last month, where he was fulfilling an ambassadorial role for Mercedes-Benz. “We can see each other at some times, and not at others, but now we have found a way to make it work fine. What I have learned from the past is that if you want it to work, then it can, no problem at all.
“Ana is an incredible person. She is the most caring person I have ever met. It is very rare to find people like that anywhere, let alone in Ana’s position. She is very down to Earth and it is nice to be around her, and she has a great sense of humour too – she is a lot of fun. Actually, it can be quite hard for me to keep up – I’m a bit more serious.”
Scott was himself a bright prospect on the tennis court before golf took over in his teens, and he clearly revels in the challenge of going head to head with the 2008 French Open champion on the tennis court.
“Not that is has anything to do with why I am with Ana, but I do like tennis a lot,” he admits. “When I play tennis with Ana it’s not pretty. Ana is a powerful player, although I have figured her serve out! I can handle her serve, no problem at all, and I can ace Anna too.”
But then Scott’s bravado is overcome by a sense of humility: “To be honest, I can hardly win a game off her. I can win a few points but not a game. It’s just like golf; the more you practice, the more consistent you are. I could hit five good balls in tennis, but Ana could hit 15, so I just get worn out, and I can’t keep on getting good balls over the net. It’s fun to play Ana because I am pretty competitive and I like to think that I am pretty good at tennis, and then I go and get a real humbling on the tennis court and I just have to accept it. The problem I’ve got is that I like to think that on my day I could beat Nadal!”
