Bosnian-American Amer Delic has been named Davis Cup captain for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Delic was born in Tuzla in the former Yugoslavia, which is now part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In 1996, Delic's family emigrated to Florida. A former NCAA singles champ for the University of Illinois, Delic played as an American until 2010, when he was asked to compete Davis Cup for Bosnia and Herzegovina. The now 31-year-old reached a career high No. 60 in 2007.

Former world No. 7 Nicole Vaidisova is working on her fitness, but has yet to decide whether she will launch a comeback, TENNIS.com has learned.
A former semifinalist at Australian Open and Roland Garros, Vaidisova retired from tennis in 2010 at age 20, saying she had lost her desire to compete. The 24-year-old says that once she gets fit enough she will "see" whether she wants to try and make a comeback.
