Tennis Power Rankings by ESPN Par zanimljivosti:
1. Novak Djokovic:
In 2008 Novak Djokovic's fellow Serb, Ana Ivanovic, became No. 1 and backed it up by winning the French Open. Djokovic did the same at Wimbledon. But unlike Ivanovic, he's here to stay.
For a guy who has held top spot for only a week, he's dominant. 2. Rafael Nadal:
Rafael Nadal has won four of the past six majors and reached the Wimbledon final last week. However, he can't figure out how to play Djokovic.
Even if his foot was 100 percent, the outcome probably wouldn't have been different. He and Uncle Toni have some work to do. 7. Juan Martin Del Potro:
There are those who long for a bit of nastiness at the top. Here you have it.
Juan Martin del Potro and Nadal don't really get along. We saw that at Wimbledon. That aside, del Potro tested Nadal in the fourth round and is a serious contender at Flushing Meadows.
9. Andy Murray:
Oh, Andy Murray. Not so long ago,
Murray was considered the biggest threat to Nadal and Federer.
Now he's a distant No. 4 on the depth chart, behind the duo and Djokovic. And del Potro is approaching quick.
19. Caroline Wozniacki:
Caroline Wozniacki is the No. 1 women's player in the world, right? Just checking. Not winning majors is one thing, but not getting past the fourth round at consecutive Grand Slams is quite another for the globetrotting socialite.
