TEF - Trench Explosion Formula. To je neka formula koju je razvio jedan od asistenata Carrolla u Sijetlu. Po toj formuli oni draftuju OL. Pročitao sam neki tekst o tome pred prošli draft. Mislim da imaš negde na netu detaljno objašnjeno kako računaju tu formulu. Doduše, kad vidim na šta liči OL Sijetla, nisam baš siguran da su dobro računali u poslednje vreme. Verovatno im se pokvario digitron.

Whether we like it or not (I’m fine with it), they like Fant at LT. Instead of not knowing what he plays… he returns as the starting LT. That’s huge. He actually now has experience and is only going to improve.

Glowinski doesn’t have to switch sides. He played on the right side at West Virginia and mainly backed up Sweezy as a rookie. I read a recent interview from his hometown paper and he talked about how this upcoming season is the first time he knows/understands going into a new season. Year one was the normal rookie stuff. Year two was switching sides but mostly handling the body rigors of a full season. As with many NFL players, past and present, year three is when they truly rock after the development has passed and they are young enough to play at a high level. I’m jacked about Glowinski next year. I don’t expect him to be Pro Bowl good, but I do expect him to be a player that we are happy with. An asset, not liability.

We were all happy with Britt last year. He’s another guy who is excited about actually knowing where he’s going to play next year. Who wouldn’t be?

The development of Ifedi is going to be huge. And it’s only natural that players greatly improve from year one to year two.

Right tackle is the only worry right now. Do they keep Gilliam? Does Rees get a legit shot? Do they sign a veteran? Trade? I think it’s in the best interest of the team for a quality veteran to be added, as that would greatly help a greenhorn like Ifedi, too. However, they have demonstrated they won’t pay superstar money to a decent player. Maybe they go with a Gilliam/Rees competition and make fans mad… but we all had high hopes for Gilliam last year and he had surgery. He wasn’t himself early or mid-year. He played well down the stretch and could this be it was because he was finally playing with two legs (i.e. healthy)?

The line sucked last year. No doubt. However, every single position on the OL is trending upward from where it was last year. That’s good and huge. Sure, it has nowhere to go but up but every spot is going to take a leap individually based on their ages and experience in those positions. With that being said, the most important aspect is the fact that most of this line is intact and we shouldn’t have to wait for Cable to switch 239 starters again around week three of the pre-season.

Reklo bi se, novi Gronk, da nije mnogo losiji
Nije jak kao Gronk, mada je vrlo pristojan u tom segmentu. Brz za svoju visinu. Logicno da ima sigurne ruke.
Bilo bi lepo da ga neko potpise da ima sigurne poene u red zone.



Ako obratite paznju, u pozadini se cuju iskljucivo devojcice koje vriste, odusevljene umecem nase danasnje zvezde

Malo nizi za NT, odlicnih gabarita. Pretpostavljam da ce postaviti odlicne brojke u dizanju tegova na kombajnu.
Moze biti kradja, u kasnijim rundama, za tim kome je potreban ovakav tip igraca.

Notiram ga da vidimo kako ce proci na draftu.

Elijah Hood, Samaje Perine, Kareem Hunt, Brian Hill, Wajne Gallman. Ovo su RB koji imaju fizicke karakteristike koje trazi Sijetl. Vidim da ni jednog do sada nisi spomenuo. Je l ti niko od njih nije zanimljiv ili nisi jos stigao da ih zapljunes ovde?

Ja sam prvenstveno hteo da postavim igrace ispod radara.
Koji nece biti uzimani u prvim rundama, iz malih skola ... par igraca koje smo postavili su izasli na scenu i kotiraju se vec sad dosta dobro.
Samaje Perine, Kareem Hunt, Wayne Gallman i Brian Hill ce biti uzeti u prve dve, najdalje u trecoj rundi. Pa se nisam ni obazirao na njih.

Inace u opticaju je ogroman broj igraca, a mi smo obradili podosta. Ne moze se sve, a i nemam ovih dana previse vremena

Hood ce biti uzet nesto kasnije. Njega sam jednom gledao ali mi nije bio interesantan.
Realno, lici na SEA tip RB. Nabulkovan, mali. Medjutim previse mi je sever jug tip, nema neke "moves" koji odaju da moze biti dobar prospekt. Mada, mozda se i varam, svako moze da pogresi.

One of the fastest rising prospects in mock drafts since the end of the 2016 season was Stanford defensive end Solomon Thomas. WalterFootball.com was first to report that Thomas would leave the Cardinal early for the 2017 NFL Draft, and his huge bowl game against North Carolina jump started a lot of hype for Thomas that led to him being projected to go in the top 10 picks, with Thomas being as high as No. 4 overall in Walt's 2017 NFL Mock Draft. In speaking with sources from seven different teams, however, six of them thought that Thomas is more of a mid-to-late first-round pick.

A general manger of a NFC playoff team said Thomas should go in the top 24 picks, but they didn't have him as a high first-rounder. Another AFC playoff team graded him as a late first-round pick. The issue that is coming up the most with Thomas is that many teams feel he has tweener size with listed numbers of 6-foot-3, 273-pounds. Some 3-4 teams feel that he isn't a great fit in their defense and more of a 4-3 end. Sources from that AFC playoff team said that Thomas is more of a good left defensive end for a 4-3 team. They think he has good technique, hand use, awareness, and feel while also being a great person off the field. An NFC team picking in the top 20 said they thought Thomas would go in the 11-20 range.

There were a number of interesting comments about Thomas from league sources. One AFC director of college scouting picking in the top 20 had this to say about Thomas: "Late one is right for him. Not worthy of a top 10. Nice player, but not special; undersized defensive end."

One general manager of a team picking in the top 10 said, "Thomas of Stanford does seem a bit rich to go in the top 10, but I think he would go around mid-to-late first ... he is a good football player but may not be quite that 'sexy' to go in the top 10 … time will tell."

Another NFC national scout described Thomas like this: "Solomon is explosive, but at 276-280 pounds he's got some tweener. He's not a true defensive end but a hybrid, jack of all trades/master of none type."

WalterFootball.com did speak with a NFC general manager picking outside of the top 10 who did think Thomas was worthy of going that high and had a real shot of being chosen in that range. That general managers said, "Thomas is going higher, many view him as a poor man's Aaron Donald."

It is entirely possible that Thomas will have a great workout at the combine to help his draft stock. It only takes one team in the top 10 to fall in love and pull the trigger on Thomas that early, but in speaking with seven NFL teams, six of them thought Thomas was a mid to late first-round talent.
